Welcome to the East Lothian Climate Hub Team

We’re delighted to share that the staff team of the new East Lothian Climate Hub are now in post with Lil and ready to support people across East Lothian to take climate action. With the welcome funding announcement from the Scottish Government today (21st May) which secures the Hub until the end of March 2025 they are all fired up and ready to support community groups (or any sort) to embrace climate and nature action. So whether you’re a member of a rugby club or a community garden, and cycling repair scheme or a Church congregation, they would love to hear from you.

We are pleased to introduce you to:

Bobby Pembleton, the new Climate Hub Manager. Bobby brings a diverse background to the role of East Lothian Climate Hub Manager, with skills and experience facilitating imaginative communication and enabling community engagement.

Tess Humble, Community Development Officer. Tess has a long history of work rooted in fighting for climate and migrant justice. Her work centres around community-led action, movement building and network development.

Jo Gibb, Community Development Officer. Jo previously worked in the international development and fairtrade sectors before transitioning to community engagement closer to home and helped set up Climate Action East Linton.. With experience in facilitation, training, and one-to-one support, Jo loves working with people collaboratively.

Sarah is the Project Director for the Climate Hub, working with the Team 1 day a week and on wider Lil work for the rest.
