Second-hand Santa

We love a second-hand Santa! If you do a friends/ family / colleagues Secret Santa - have you thought about making it nothing new? (Eg second-hand / experiences only?) We had a lovely one where you had to re-gift a book you’d enjoyed.

Sometimes with a consumer culture overload, this can be a harder “sell” for young ones. We love this idea of a Santa letter explaining why there’s no box, a few scuffs, already has batteries. Feel free to download/copy ours, or use it as inspiration and call in a favour from an older neighbour/family friend* with some tea-stained paper and their copper-plate handwriting.

*Grandparent handwriting is no good for young sleuths!
